I’ve created this website to help you.
My name is Bridget, and I’m a wife and mama to 4 kiddos (find out more about me here).
In addition to raising my children and homeschooling them, I’ve been working from home since my oldest was just a tiny baby.
When it became clear to me that I wanted nothing more than to stay home with my babies, I started scouring the Internet for ways I could make that happen.
I spent hours researching and took pages and pages of notes.
While I dabbled in many different things early on, I ultimately landed on freelance writing. I’ve been doing that for a good nine years now, and I’ve been able to contribute a very healthy income to our families needs without having to give up the freedom to stay home and homeschool my children.
Over the years, I have had many friends and family reach out to me and ask me how I do it!
I know there are so many moms who want to know how they can get started.

Navigating the Website
To make things easy, the site is divided into three sections:
- Best Jobs for Moms – The best jobs are always flexible, pay well, and doable for busy moms who also have kids at home.
- Make Extra Money – Maybe you just want a way to earn some extra cash, but don’t necessarily want a job. If so, this section is for you.
- Work From Home Tips – Wondering how to manage work and kids? Need tips on how to stay productive? This section has lots of helpful advice for helping you do it all.
Free Resources to Help You Start
Once you figure out what it is you want to do, you will probably find some courses or classes that can teach you how to do it successfully.
While there are lots of work at home courses out there, not all are legitimate. I do recommend some, but only with people who I trust!
Before paying for anything though, I always recommend free courses when they’re available. Nothing’s better than FREE!
A free course is great because it will give you valuable information, help you decide if this is something you really want to pursue, and give you insight into whether or not you like the instructor.

Blogging
Interested in learning about blogging as a work at home job? It is totally possible! Suzy at Start a Mom Blog is the absolute best at teaching everything there is to know about blogging.
She started blogging from home after her first baby was born, and in less than 3 years she was able to retire her husband from his job as a mechanical engineer! Wow!

Virtual Assistant
There’s lots to learn about becoming a virtual assistant and why it’s one of the best jobs for moms who want to work from home.
